Boudoir

What is boudoir?

boudoir (/ˈbuːdwɑːr/; French: [bu.dwaʁ]) is a woman's private sitting room or salon in a furnished residence, usually between the dining room and the bedroom, but can also refer to a woman's private bedroom. The term derives from the French verb bouder (to sulk or pout) or adjective boudeur (sulking)—the room was originally a space for sulking in, or one to put away or withdraw to. - from Wikipedia

What is boudoir photography?

Boudoir photography is a photographic style featuring intimate, sensual, romantic, and sometimes erotic images of its subjects in a photographic studio, bedroom or private dressing room environment, primarily intended for the private enjoyment of the subjects and their romantic partners. It is distinct from glamour and art nude photography in that it is usually more suggestive rather than explicit in its approach to nudity and sexuality, features subjects who do not regularly model, and produces images that are not intended to be seen by a wide audience, but rather to remain under the control of the subject. - from Wikipedia

What is boudoir for me?

This is my interpretation of boudoir - bringing out the sensual and feminine side of you while having tons of fun. It's never about nudity, vulgarity or eroticism. My vision is to make it soft, elegant and romantic. It's about you embracing your body, empowering your self-confidence and celebrating yourself, just the way you are!
